MOT Tester Vacancy in Slough
We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester, Vehicle Tester, or MOT Technician to join a busy main dealership in Slough.
Requirements
- Hold a valid MOT Tester Licence
- Previous MOT testing or automotive workshop experience
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable
Location
Slough, Berkshire
Salary
Basic salary to be confirmed + Uncapped Bonus
OTE
£45,000+
Hours
Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rota

MOT Tester Role
- Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Identify and report vehicle defects and safety concerns
- Complete servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs when required
- Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment
- Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC)
- Complete MOT documentation and workshop records accurately
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and Health & Safety
MOT Tester Requirements
- Valid MOT Tester Licence
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Tester, or MOT Technician
- Good knowledge of DVSA testing standards and procedures
- Experience within a main dealership or independent garage
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
