Job Title: MOT Tester/Vehicle Technician
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + Time Saved Bonus (OTE £46k) + benefits (listed below)
- Performance Related Bonus (usually between £6,000-£8,000 annually)

Role: Full time and permanent.
Our client is an independent dealer group which operates a network of 61 dealership sites in the UK and channel islands.
Are you a skilled MOT Tester who wants to concentrate primarily on MOT inspections along with servicing, minor repairs, vehicle sales preparation? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a qualified MOT Tester who prides themselves on delivering accurate, honest, and thorough vehicle inspections compliant with DVSA standards. Your main responsibility will be performing MOT tests, ensuring vehicles meet all safety and legal requirements. Alongside MOT testing, you’ll assist with servicing and minor mechanical repairs and prepare vehicles for sale, helping maintain the high dealership standards.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Deliver the highest possible levels of technical advice, service, and maintenance to all our clients' customers, on Ford and other brand vehicles.
- Work within the relevant protocols, as dictated by legislation, the company, the manufacturer, and relevant suppliers at all times.
- Assist Senior and Master Technicians, and undertake learning and development as prescribed.
- Maintain comprehensive records, in an appropriate and timely fashion, and ensure colleagues do the same.
- Create and maintain a supportive culture for all colleagues in line with our client's PPA.
- Commit to ongoing learning and development.
- Deliver all services in the most resource-effective manner possible.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- DVSA-approved MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 minimum)
- Proven experience conducting MOT tests in a dealership or fast-fit environment
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and compliance
- Confident using MOT testing tools and software.
