MOT Tester
Location: Carrville, Durham (DH1)
Salary: Up to £33,000 Basic Salary + Bonus (OTE up to £43,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-Time | Permanent

Our client is a well-established used car retailer based in Carrville, Durham, offering a wide range of handpicked, quality used vehicles and a first-class customer experience. As their business continues to grow, they are looking to recruit a qualified MOT Tester to join their busy workshop team.

The Role
As an MOT Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet all DVSA safety and compliance standards while supporting the workshop team in maintaining high levels of efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
- Accurately complete all MOT documentation and records.
- Identify vehicle defects and report repair requirements.
- Work closely with technicians and workshop management.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Valid Class 4 MOT Tester Licence.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience within a busy workshop environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification.
- Experience carrying out servicing and repair work.
