Motion Graphics Designer
Salary: £33,000
Location: Fully remote, UK

The opportunity
We're partnering with an established international gaming and entertainment business to appoint a talented Motion Graphics Designer.
You'll join the marketing team and work closely with a Senior Graphic Artist, game designers, and key stakeholders to create visually compelling motion and static assets for retail and mobile games, product launches, trade shows, and social media.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative designer who can take ownership of projects, contribute original ideas, and deliver high-quality work within a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Bring creative briefs to life in collaboration with art and game designers, marketing colleagues, and internal stakeholders.
- Produce engaging motion graphics and video content from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Create animated and static assets for new game releases, product launches, events, and social platforms.
- Adapt creative across different video formats, dimensions, and aspect ratios.
- Refine concepts in response to stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative channels.
- Contribute fresh ideas and stay informed about emerging animation and design trends.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Experience using After Effects plugins such as Element 3D, Particular, Optical Flares, or Saber.
- A strong understanding of motion storytelling, pacing, typography, composition, and layout.
- Experience working with different video formats, aspect ratios, and compression settings.
- General experience with 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya.
- Photoshop and Illustrator skills would be advantageous.
- Art-retouching experience, including separating 2D character assets for animation, would be beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach and confidence working independently.
- Experience within gaming is beneficial but not essential if your portfolio demonstrates the required creative and technical skills.
