Mid-Level Motion Designer

Location: Soho, London (Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite)

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Opportunity

An award-winning international creative agency is looking for a talented Mid-Level Motion Designer to join its growing London team. Working with globally recognised entertainment and media brands, you'll create high-impact motion graphics across film, television, digital, and social campaigns.

Reporting directly to the Design Creative Director, you'll collaborate with a highly creative team at an exciting stage of growth, producing outstanding visual work in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts and produce high-quality motion graphics across a variety of projects.
  • Execute motion design work for premium entertainment and media campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors and the wider creative team to refine and elevate creative output.
  • Solve creative challenges with innovative design solutions.
  • Support senior creatives on large-scale projects.
  • Maintain organised project files, assets, quality control, and final deliveries.
  • Stay up to date with emerging design trends, techniques, and software.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the wider design team.
  • Ensure projects follow established workflows and production standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong creative instincts with excellent technical ability.

You'll ideally have:

  • A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating motion design work across digital and social content.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
    • After Effects
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
  • Experience with Maxon tools, including:
    • Cinema 4D
    • Red Giant
  • Strong tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing skills.
  • The ability to interpret creative briefs and transform ideas into engaging visual content.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and highly organised approach.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • The flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced creative agency environment.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:30am – 6:30pm (Including a one-hour unpaid lunch break)
