About Immersive Gamebox

Immersive Gamebox (IGB) is a fast-scaling location-based entertainment company that brings immersive, multiplayer gaming experiences to global audiences. We operate 37 venues across the UK, US, and internationally, partnering with the world's biggest IPs — Squid Game, PAW Patrol, Angry Birds, Ghostbusters and (many more to come) to create world-class interactive content. With over 2 million players and tens of thousands of 5★ reviews, we have a proven product people love. We now want to build a brand that makes us the market-leading location-based entertainment provider globally.

The Role:

We're looking for a technically gifted Motion Designer & Video Editor to be the craft powerhouse of our paid video channels. Your role is to create high-energy, scroll-stopping video that generates strong brand recognition, recall, and action. You’ll be the go-to creator to edit, animate, grade, and design paid video ads, turning ideas into content befitting a market-leading, premium entertainment brand.

This is a design and motion-first role. You are an expert in the edit bay and a natural storyteller: taking raw assets and elevating them with color grading, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and graphic overlays. You sweat the details; the hook, the pacing, the transitions, the beat-syncing, and sound edit. We are looking for a digital media native, who knows the platforms and how they work, and can produce visually connected edits across an array of formats; sizzle reels, UGC, high-pro, skippable & non-skippable, short-form, and longer-form.

You are passionate about creating work that works, understanding trends and results to continuously improve performance. As a small team, every player needs to contribute to wider marketing conversations. We are looking for someone who is creative beyond their technical discipline, able to generate ideas and think independently. You'll take a brief and come back with concepts of your own. You can think through the creative, not just produce it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This isn't just basic social editing. We need someone who can produce ads to a TV standard — work that holds up on the big screen, connected TV (CTV), and paid video channels. You should also genuinely love the wider world of high-production video: sizzle reels, corporate and brand films, event recaps, and partner content. You know the difference in craft, finish, and technical spec that broadcast-grade work demands, and you deliver to it.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Concepting & ideation: Take briefs and turn them into creative concepts, pitching ideas and bringing a clear creative point of view on how the work will deliver against objectives.
  • Footage sourcing & selection: Find the best moments to bring an idea to life; utilizing our bank of UGC, influencer, and B-roll alongside any externally sourced footage. You should be proficient in AI-generated video to fill gaps and help bring creative ideas to life (worth noting we believe in the power of authenticity so this is the exception rather than the rule).
  • Editing, design & motion graphics: Edit and finish attention-grabbing and attention-holding content across the full spectrum of ad formats. Design & animate motion graphics where applicable to elevate a message and hold attention. Correct color and grade footage to maintain a consistent premium brand standard.
  • Define & maintain brand video standards: Design how Immersive Gamebox shows up in video; ensuring all content elevates our competitive edge; shared, playable experiences worth talking about. Define the standards that enable a consistent look & feel through a wide array of social-first and high-pro assets. Optimize these standards based on learnings & performance.
  • Collaboration: Act as an integral resource within Campaign & Paid Media working groups, contributing ideas, being curious about performance, and supporting overarching objectives.
