Department: Creative / Production

Reporting To: Head of Post Production

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

Role Overview

We are looking for a Motion Editor to join the creative team of a global jewellery brand. This role suits someone with a sharp eye for pacing, structure, and storytelling, who is also comfortable adding titles, transitions, and light motion graphics to elevate a cut. You'll work closely with the Head of Post Production and wider creative team to deliver polished, on-brand video content across a variety of campaigns, platforms, and formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble footage from rough cut through to final delivery
  • Build titles, lower thirds, and light motion graphics calling on more advanced animation tools for involved animation
  • Work from creative briefs, scripts, and reference edits to produce on-brand, high-quality cuts
  • Colour correct and grade footage to a broadcast-ready standard, or prepare timelines for hand-off to a specialist grader
  • Source, sync, and mix music, voiceover, and sound effects to support the edit
  • Manage multiple versions and cutdowns of assets across formats and aspect ratios (broadcast, social, digital, etc.)
  • Maintain organised project files and adhere to studio naming and folder conventions
  • Collaborate with motion designers, CGI artists, and producers to ensure a smooth handover of assets and consistent visual quality
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within editing projects, including codecs, rendering, and export problems
  • Take on feedback from Creative Directors and stakeholders, iterating quickly and accurately
  • Keep up to date with new tools, plugins, and techniques within editing and motion graphics

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
