Position: 12 months FTC
Job Introduction
Daily Mail has major ambitions to set a new standard for the quality of its content, on-site and across platforms. We are looking for a creative and highly skilled Motion Graphics Producer to elevate the look and feel of our original video content. Working across the Daily Mail website, social channels, and YouTube, you’ll craft visually striking graphics that bring stories to life, drive engagement, and reinforce our brand reputation for bold, premium storytelling.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-impact motion graphics and visual assets for original video content across the Daily Mail site, social media, and YouTube.
- Collaborate closely with video producers, editors, journalists and wider editorial teams to develop innovative animated treatments for a broad range of story formats.
- Translate complex editorial concepts and data into clear, audience-friendly visual storytelling.
- Support both fast-turnaround news environments and longer-form premium video projects.
- Maintain and evolve brand standards, templates, toolkits and motion graphics guidelines to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, constantly pushing creative boundaries and suggesting fresh visual approaches and technologies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and creative excellence.
- Advise on the best practices for motion design in digital-video, tailoring work for platform-specific needs (site, social, YouTube, etc.).

Person Specification
- Strong experience producing motion graphics for video - ideally in a news, publishing or digital media environment.
- Expert knowledge of After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite (experience with 3D or data-visualisation tools is a plus).
- A strong creative portfolio showing a range of motion graphics for online video, social and/or YouTube.
- Familiarity with on-air, in-video branding and visual storytelling techniques.
- A keen eye for design, typography, animation and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to prioritise, manage time, and deliver high-quality work to deadline.
