A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Criminal Solicitor to join a highly regarded Crime & Regulatory team within a leading professional services organisation. This role offers the chance to work across a varied caseload of motor crime matters, including road traffic offences, dangerous driving, serious injury, and manslaughter.
The Role
You will take on a dynamic, client-facing position, supporting cases from the point of instruction through to resolution. The role provides excellent exposure to complex and high-profile matters, including involvement in investigations, police station attendance, and court proceedings.

- Analyse and review prosecution evidence
- Draft witness statements and legal submissions
- Support and advise clients throughout investigations and proceedings
- Attend police station interviews under caution
- Liaise with courts, regulators, and expert witnesses
- Prepare defence statements, reports, and trial bundles
- Attend trials and inquests alongside Counsel
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy
- Attend incident sites and assist with evidence gathering
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in criminal law or motor crime
- Ideally NQ–1 PQE with at least 6–12 months’ relevant experience
- Background in legal aid or criminal defence is advantageous
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
- Able to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Flexible and willing to travel as required
