The Role

Motor Crime Solicitor - West Yorkshire - Hybrid/Remote working (1 office day a week)

A leading specialist Motor Crime practice is looking to recruit a talented Motor Crime Solicitor to join its highly regarded and growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in road traffic and motoring offences to join a niche practice that has built an outstanding reputation for providing immediate legal support to private individuals and commercial organisations following serious road traffic incidents.

As part of a close-knit team with an incredible working culture, you will play a key role in delivering expert legal advice and representation from the earliest stages of an investigation through to conclusion.

The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base including national bus operators, major haulage and transportation companies, and agricultural businesses, handling a broad range of motor crime matters.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, with predominantly remote working and attendance at the West Yorkshire office typically once a week or fortnight.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
