Are you an experienced Motor claims professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for uncovering the truth? We’re looking for a skilled Motor Claim Investigator to join our specialist Motor Investigations team, where you’ll play a key role in detecting and containing fraud across complex motor insurance claims.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Motor Investigations Team Manager, you will join a high‑performing group of eight investigators, dedicated to handling a full range of Motor claims—including vehicle damage, personal injury, credit hire, policy fraud, accidental damage, fire, and theft—across self‑drive hire, Motor Trade, and Fleet.
- You’ll take ownership of a caseload of high‑value investigations from start to finish, working closely with our Fraud Data & Insight Team and adjusting colleagues, while engaging directly with policyholders, brokers, and insurers.
- This is a strategic role that demands technical expertise, investigative acumen, and strong stakeholder engagement. You’ll be responsible for conducting video interviews, identifying and evidencing fraudulent activity, and collaborating with panel solicitors to secure the best outcomes for our clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
