MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MOT TESTER
£37,000 per year | Torquay | Monday–Friday
MOT Tester qualification not essential — we can provide the training and qualification for the right person.

We’re looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at TQ1 MOT Centre Service & Repairs in Torquay.
Whether you already hold an MOT Tester qualification or are an experienced Technician without one, we can support you in gaining your MOT Tester qualification.
We’re a family-run business that has been established for over 12 years, with a strong reputation and a loyal customer base. We work with a wide range of local businesses, including the NHS and local ambulance services, alongside our private customers.

About the role
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and takes pride in their work, with the ability to service, diagnose and repair a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles.
You’ll be joining a friendly team in a modern, well-equipped MOT and repair centre, with a varied and established workload.
What we offer
- £37,000 per year
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm
- No weekends
- No bank holidays
