Key Guard (Motorbike Emergency Response Rider) at Banham

About the Role

How would you like a job where you are only work half of the year but get paid a full year, can take a three-week holiday but only use one week of annual leave and get to ride a motorbike, all while working for a Market Leading Company? Our Key Guards (Motorbike Emergency Response Riders) are the super heroes of our business. They provide help and a first-class response service to our customers - which can include responding to alarm activations and securing properties, to delivering a forgotten passport to a stressed traveller at the airport; every shift offers a new challenge. So if this sounds like the perfect job, you may just be the person we are looking for to fulfil the role of a Key Guard at Banham.

Responsibilities

You'll be the first point of response when our customers need us most, helping to keep people, properties, and businesses safe while delivering exceptional service at every opportunity.

  • Respond to alarm activations and client requests, attending sites promptly and professionally.
  • Investigate alarm activations, assess situations, and take appropriate action to secure premises.
  • Assist customers who have lost their keys by providing authorised access to their properties.
  • Attend and respond to a variety of emergency situations, acting calmly and decisively.
  • Carry out routine property inspections, ensuring sites remain secure and reporting any concerns.
  • Provide customers with knowledgeable, accurate advice and support regarding our services and products.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every interaction, through professionalism, reliability, and excellent service - acting as a trusted ambassador for the Banham brand.

Please note: This role operates on a rotating shift pattern of 7 days on, 7 days off. You'll work 12-hour shifts, alternating between a week of day shifts (6am to 6pm) and a week of night shifts (6pm to 6am).

Requirements

You will be experienced, confident, and reliable with a drive to offer an outstanding response service as a Motorbike Emergency Response Rider (Key Guard). You'll also be flexible with a can-do attitude.

  • Class 2 Motorbike licence holder (minimum of 1 year for insurance purposes).
  • Skilled rider with a good knowledge of London roads and understand the challenges that riding in London presents.
  • Good MS skills to enable report writing.
