Motorcycle Chassis Engineering Manager - Dynamics

Step into a high-impact leadership role that blends hands-on engineering momentum with clear, people-focused management.

As the Manager- Chassis Engineering - Dynamics Team, you will lead the Wheels & Brakes design function across new motorcycle models, drive safety and regulatory compliance, and turn complex development challenges into confident, on-time delivery. This Motorcycle Chassis Engineering Manager - Dynamics role sits within the vehicle design and development industry, bringing variety, collaboration, and real ownership from concept through validation.

What You Will Do as Motorcycle Chassis Engineering Manager - Dynamics:

  • Lead the design team for Wheels & Brakes across all new models, currently supporting around 10 engineers across UK and India locations.
  • Own specification, design and development activities within the Dynamics function, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance through the New Product Introduction (NPI) framework.
  • Develop 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for chassis dynamics parts, including wheels and braking-related components, using PTC Creo (or equivalent CAD capability).
  • Partner with CAE teams to evaluate and optimise designs against technical input requirements, then release engineering documentation and eBOMs via PLM.
  • Oversee verification and design checking, including Design Review documentation quality and the release of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for assigned aggregates.
  • Manage design changes and ensure lessons learned are systematically embedded into every release, while coordinating suppliers and manufacturing interfaces on DFM and PFR points.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
