We’re proud to be the world’s largest insurer of collectible and enthusiast vehicles and are home to the Hagerty Drivers Club, the world’s largest car club. Our Marketplace business presents live and digital sales across the U.S. and Europe, we host a number of driving events and concours, and our award-winning automotive journalists produce the most popular car magazine globally, alongside internationally awarded videos. We’re committed to Never Stop Driving. Ready to get in the driver’s seat? Join us!

As a Motorcycle Specialist, you’ll be a key member of Broad Arrow's motorcycle auction team, helping to establish and grow the company's presence within the global collector motorcycle market. This is a highly client-facing and commercially focused position. You’ll develop relationships with collectors and proactively generate high-quality motorcycle consignments, while helping clients buy, sell and finance collector motorcycles through live and online auctions, private sales and Broad Arrow Capital. We are seeking candidates with a strong professional reputation within the collector motorcycle industry, proven sales and business-development ability, and extensive specialist knowledge of motorcycles, ideally spanning a number of marques, periods and collecting categories.

What you’ll do

  • Proactively source and secure motorcycle consignments for live and online auctions and private sales
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with collectors, dealers, museums, collections, estates and other participants within the international collector motorcycle market, providing high-quality advice and expertise
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients considering buying or selling individual motorcycles or complete collections
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through existing relationships, referrals, direct outreach and attendance at relevant motorcycle and collector events
  • Drive revenue through consigning and selling motorcycles via live and online auctions, and private sales
  • Undertake valuations and provide informed advice on estimates, reserves, market positioning and appropriate sale strategy
  • Visit clients and inspect motorcycles in person, assessing condition, originality, specification, provenance and marketability
  • Work with the Research & Editorial team to ensure accurate descriptions of consigned bikes to a consistently high standard, ensuring descriptions are accurate, authoritative and commercially effective
  • Work closely with clients throughout the complete consignment process, from initial discussion and valuation through to auction and post-sale follow-up.
  • Coordinate with administration, client services, operations, photography and marketing/PR teams to ensure consignments are presented and promoted to the highest standard.
  • Oversee the photography, documentation and preparation of individual consignments as required.
  • Represent Broad Arrow Motorcycles at auctions, shows, rallies, races and other relevant international collector events to support client engagement and business development.
  • Travel regularly within the UK and internationally to meet existing and prospective clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
