Vertu Honda Grantham Bikes are looking to recruit a Motorcycle Technician to join this expanding business!
We are offering a salary of up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience plus company benefits.
About the Role
As a Motorcycle Technician you'll spend most of your time in our workshop maintaining our New and Used Motorcycles to the high standards set out in our Health and Safety policy. It involves carrying out inspections, repairs and services, checking motorcycles against VOSA legislation, and handling and storing parts.
You'll also need to make sure all necessary Visual Health Checks are completed, that paperwork is accurate and up to date. You will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes and that a high level of productivity is maintained. Analysis, diagnostics and road testing vehicles are also a critical part of this role. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Conducting inspections, repairs, and services on motorcycles
- Checking motorcycles against VOSA legislation
- Handling and storing parts
- Completing Visual Health Checks
- Ensuring paperwork is accurate and up to date
- Maintaining high levels of productivity and completing jobs within agreed timeframes
- Performing analysis, diagnostics, and road testing of vehicles
- Delivering outstanding customer experience
Requirements
- Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2) as a minimum requirement
- Full Motorcycle License
- Ideally, Franchise experience (not essential; manufacturer training will be provided)
- MOT License welcome but not essential
