Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented mechanical and design engineer to join our 3D printing and machining facility in Derby, active in wax pattern, and ceramic core manufacturing for investment casting process. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing injection dies and tooling for ceramic, wax, and plastic injection, other design projects, as well as metrology and measurement operations and controls.
Mould, Die, and Tooling Design and Manufacturing skills are essential for this role, and experience in wax or ceramic injection dies for Investment Casting (lost-wax casting process) is desirable. Knowledge and experience in CNC machining and operation or mechatronics and control is of high differentiation value, as well.

Responsibilities
- Design full sketch drawings and manufacturing/assembly process of injection dies for wax and ceramic parts used in Investment Casting
- CNC programming, coding, and operation
- Measurement and control the parts and components

Skills
- CAD and CAM proficiency to the highest level and mould/die design experience with Solidwork
- CNC programming and operating
- CMM programming and machine operation
- Very high work ethics, reporting skills, communication, multitasking, and attention to details.
