About the Role

Safran Nacelles is seeking an experienced MRB Engineer to join our Engineering team in Burnley.

As an MRB Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of aerospace products by analysing, categorising, and dispositioning manufacturing non-conformances. Acting as the technical bridge between Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and Customers, you will ensure defects are resolved safely, compliantly, and within operational timescales.

  • Develop and provide technically substantiated dispositions for non-conforming products.
  • Liaise with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to obtain approvals for major non-conformances.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records of non-conformances, repairs, dispositions, and supporting stress reports.
  • Support corrective actions to address product and quality system non-conformances.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure MRB cycle time targets are achieved.
  • Support the development and approval of repair and rework solutions.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Safran procedures and aerospace regulatory requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
