About the role
What will I be doing?
The main part of your role will involve collecting representative samples from incoming feed stock to plant, sorting into the various categories of target materials, recyclable but non-target materials & non-recyclable materials.

The Role Will Include
- Accurately weigh and record findings onto databases using various Microsoft Office programmes.
- Collecting representative samples from outgoing products (paper, steel, plastics etc) to ensure quality levels are met / exceeded
- To accurately weigh and record findings onto databases using various Microsoft programmes such as Excel.
- Tracking the number of samples for both incoming and outgoing materials to ensure that the site does not fall short of the requirements of legislation.
What do you require?
SUEZ have a proactive approach to health, which we'll look to you to support and maintain, helping us ensure we protect the environment by ensuring our operations minimise any potential harm to the environment.
The successful candidate will need to be computer literate and any previous experience in the waste / recycling or similar industry would be advantageous. You will need to be hard working, flexible in your approach to your role but, overall, capable of working to and maintaining high standards.
