Senior MRI Radiographer (Bank) – Tunbridge Wells Hospital
About the Role

As a Senior MRI Radiographer at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you’ll take the lead in delivering high-quality imaging services, from cardiac MRI to MSK, neuro, oncology, gynaecological, breast, and general MRI scans.
This is an ad-hoc part-time bank role (up to £30 per hour, depending on experience), perfect for radiographers who prefer flexibility without the constraints of a fixed contract.
Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred care, treating each individual with respect and understanding
- Deliver high-precision MRI scans across multiple specialisms, including cardiac imaging (critical for this role)
- Collaborate with leading practitioners and uphold cutting-edge clinical standards
- Contribute to service development, including policy and procedure scoping
- Perform cannulating tasks as part of the role
- Maintain a high-quality, sensitive service aligned with Nuffield Health’s values

Requirements
- A BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Postgraduate qualification in relevant specialisms
- Extensive technical expertise, with strong experience in cardiac MRI scanning
- Compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Ability to work flexibly on an ad-hoc basis based on business demand
- Experience working in a fast-paced, private healthcare environment
