MedicsPro is recruiting an experienced MRI Deputy Superintendent Radiographer for a full-time senior leadership role at a private hospital in Central London. The post covers advanced MRI imaging across four GE and Siemens scanners, with responsibility for clinical leadership, protocol optimisation, staff support and deputising for the MRI Superintendent. Applicants must hold current HCPC registration and have at least three years of MRI experience, including cardiac MRI. This is a live vacancy, subject to the hospital’s recruitment process and availability.

Essential Requirements
- BSc (Hons) Radiography, DCR(R), or an accepted international equivalent
- Current HCPC registration
- At least three years of MRI experience; no separate UK or NHS experience minimum is specified
- Cardiac MRI experience and strong specialist MRI knowledge
- Experience working independently, including vetting and protocoling examination requests
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety, quality control, quality assurance and clinical audit
Key Responsibilities
- Lead MRI imaging delivery, education, training, protocol development and image optimisation
- Perform a broad range of MRI examinations and support the development of cardiac MRI practice
- Vet and protocol examination requests and provide high-level MRI troubleshooting
- Deputise for the MRI Superintendent and support staff rotas and annual leave planning
- Act as a clinical mentor and complete competency assessments
- Support MRI safety, governance, audits, quality improvement and updates to standard operating procedures

Shifts and Working Arrangements
This is a full-time, on-site role in a private hospital. The regular rota operates Monday to Saturday and includes on-call duties. Specific daily hours, night requirements and weekend frequency will be confirmed by the hospital during the recruitment process.
