I'm currently working with a Local Authority in the Midlands who are looking to bring an experienced RICS Registered Valuer who is also a MRICS Chartered Surveyor into their Property & Estates team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced General Practice Surveyor who has worked across Local Authority or wider public-sector property and is comfortable managing a varied caseload.
The role will include:
- Undertaking Red Book and asset valuations across a varied property portfolio
- Supporting the authority's asset valuation programme
- Managing rent reviews, lease renewals and other landlord & tenant matters
- Supporting acquisitions and disposals
- Providing advice around commercial property, income and asset optimisation
- Preparing valuation reports and professional property advice
- Working closely with colleagues across Property, Finance and wider council services

What we're looking for:
- MRICS Chartered Surveyor
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Strong valuation / General Practice property experience
- Previous Local Authority or public-sector experience highly desirable
- Confident working independently and managing a varied caseload
