I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Required Skills
- Microsoft Dynamics configuration experience, ideally in CRM-style business process configuration and SaaS delivery contexts.
- Ability to deliver requirements as user stories/work packages within a partner-led delivery model.
- Understanding of data dependencies and integration impacts across CRM, Banner and downstream systems.
- Strong testing/UAT support mindset, given the programme’s emphasis on functional testing, UAT, SIT and cross-capability UAT.
Preferred Skills

Experience Level
- Mid-to-senior Dynamics configurators, with one senior/client-facing lead. This is a recommended staffing structure, not an explicit transcript requirement, and is based on the need to manage a longer delivery stream while maintaining UEL-facing coordination and offshore execution.
Delivery Expectations
- Candidates should be able to work as part of a mixed onshore/offshore client pod, deliver Dynamics CRM Recruit configuration packages, support testing/UAT, and coordinate closely with Banner SaaS and integration teams where dependencies exist.
