Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site MS SQL Developer with.NET Experience position based in London E1. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server databases and related data models to support fixed income data and analytics. The developer will build and optimize stored procedures, functions, and queries, and implement ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring data quality and performance, and supporting existing.NET applications that interact with the database layer. The role also requires troubleshooting data and application issues, documenting solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement of database and application architecture.

Qualifications

- Strong database development skills in MS SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Experience with database design and data modeling to support scalable, reliable, and maintainable data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, data integration, and automation using SQL Server or related tools.
- Solid analytical skills for interpreting complex data requirements, troubleshooting issues, and validating data accuracy.
- Proficiency in .NET (C# or VB.NET) for building and maintaining data-driven applications and services.
- Familiarity with capital markets, fixed income products, or financial data is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
