MSAT Director
Allerton Bishop is partnering with a successful European pharmaceutical company to appoint a MSAT Director based in Northern England. The MSAT Director (Manufacturing, Science and Technology) will lead technology transfer and new/existing product introduction across the European region. The successful candidates will be able to work on a hybrid basis to an office in Northern England and willing to travel quarterly to global locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight for all external manufacturing activities.
- Oversee technology transfers and lifecycle management for both new / existing small molecule products.
- Ensure GMP regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Lead and manage a team of MSAT specialists based across Europe.
- As the MSAT Director, you will work closely with the External Supply and Quality Assurance teams to deliver global projects and product launches.

Requirements
The successful candidate for the MSAT Director will demonstrate the following:
- PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a scientific discipline.
- Work experience in pharmaceutical, aseptic / sterile manufacturing.
- Technical experience of MSAT, CMC, Process Development for small molecules products in oral solid or sterile liquid dosage form.
- Detailed understanding of CMC requirements and regulatory dossier submissions.
- The right to work in the UK is essential.
