Job Title: Band 6 Physiotherapist
Location: Lincoln and Louth Sites
We are looking for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join our musculoskeletal outpatients team at our Lincoln and Louth sites. You will get the opportunity to assess and treat a wide variety of MSK conditions including consultant and GP referrals. Within this role you will autonomously manage a complex clinical caseload and be responsible for supporting the learning and development of junior staff, assistants and students within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of Physiotherapy in the Musculoskeletal Outpatient service.
- Deliver classes and 1:1 care as clinically indicated.
- Perform more advanced and detailed assessments with patients presenting with more diverse and complex conditions, providing a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualized specialist treatment programme.
- Hold your own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
- Be responsible for supervision of junior staff contributing to in-service training and induction programmes.
- Contribute to daily triage, ensuring patients get the care they need and be able to identify needs for onward referral and requirement for external services.
- Participate and lead on service development and quality improvement projects or audit.

Serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory pediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincoln Hospital
A thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust
Has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence of significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT)
Have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organizations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
