The clinic brings together a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of hands-on physical therapists who provide evidence-based treatment. Services include Sports Physiotherapy, Chiropractic care, Exercise Injury Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, Soft tissue release, and Podiatry foot care. The team works collaboratively to deliver tailored treatment plans designed to support recovery, enhance performance, and prevent future injuries. The clinic offers a dynamic environment for professionals who want to work with diverse athletic and active populations.
Role Description
This full-time, on-site MSK Physiotherapist role is based at MY Sports Injury Clinic in Manchester. The MSK Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, using evidence-based manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities

- Conducting thorough clinical assessments
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Leading exercise rehabilitation programs
- Monitoring patient progress
- Educating patients on injury prevention
- Collaborating with chiropractors, podiatrists, and other team members
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
The physiotherapist will contribute to a high standard of patient care, support clinic workflows, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation for sports and orthopedic injuries.
- Skills in patient communication, education, and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse athletic and non-athletic backgrounds.
- Skills in clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and accurate clinical documentation and record-keeping.
- Skills in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, podiatrists, and other health professionals.
- Hold a recognized degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and be registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC or equivalent).
- Demonstrate experience or strong interest in sports injury management, private practice, or performance-focused rehabilitation.
- Good time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a varied caseload in a busy clinical environment.
- Additional training or experience in acupuncture, soft tissue techniques, or sports performance screening will be considered an advantage.
