Eligibility
Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare. Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.
About Us
The MSK Physiotherapy service provides outpatient MSK services across Kent. We operate within four teams covering North Kent, Ashford, Canterbury and Thanet, South Kent Coast and, West Kent.
Job Overview
We are recruiting an MSK Physiotherapy Assistant for the West Kent team working between, Sevenoaks Hospital and, Tonbridge Cottage Hospital some travel to the Churchill Centre (Aylesford) may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting our Physiotherapists to deliver programmes of care, both in a group setting and on a one-to-one basis to our patients.
- Assisting with hydrotherapy provision, if applicable.
- Carrying out a programme of treatment prescribed by the Physiotherapists.
- Being responsible for housekeeping tasks including monitoring, maintaining and cleaning physiotherapy equipment and general tidiness of the department.
- Responsible for own documentation using Trust software and administration tasks as required.
- Ability to travel across the Trust in a timely manner if required.

Job Locations
This job is based between Sevenoaks Hospital and Tonbridge Cottage Hospital. You will also be required to work across additional sites dependent on service need; The Churchill Centre, Aylesford and West View Integrated Care Centre, Tenterden. Therefore, driving is essential to the role.
