Your tasks

Welcome to PAION Pharma! We are a pharmaceutical company specialising in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of medicines. Our focus is on intensive care medicine, anaesthesiology and infectious diseases.

We are looking for an enthusiastic MSL to join our team in UK. As a member of our diverse Medical Affairs team, you will play a key role in driving medical advancements forward with your expertise and passion.

Look forward to exciting tasks:

  • Building and maintaining a national and international network of experts
  • Identifying and initiating scientific projects to address relevant questions in the fields of intensive care medicine and anaesthesiology
  • Presenting scientific and medical data in hospitals, at conferences and internally
  • Developing scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of clinical and non-interventional studies
  • Organising advisory boards, conference symposia and expert meetings
  • Establishment of speaker pools
  • Scientific point of contact for internal and external enquiries regarding our products; discussion of scientific ideas and strategies with experts and KOLs
  • Close collaboration with colleagues within Medical Affairs as well as with other departments, e.g. Marketing, Sales or R&D
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable legal regulations and medical compliance guidelines

Your profile

  • A successfully completed degree in a medical or scientific field
  • Experience in intensive care medicine or anaesthesiology
  • 3–5 years’ industry experience in a Medical Affairs role
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to understand, process, communicate and present scientific information to a high standard
  • Willingness to travel (up to 40% field time)
  • Your place of residence ideally is the metropolitan areas of London, Birmingham, Manchester or somewhere in between
  • Team player with a solution-oriented approach
  • Good and precise writing and communication skills, including medical writing
  • Ideally, an existing network of scientists, experts and KOLs in the relevant medical fields
