Role Description

The MSSP / SOC Analyst with AI Expertise is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lincoln, with flexibility for part-time work from home. This role focuses on monitoring security events, triaging alerts, and responding to incidents across managed security services, leveraging AI-driven tooling to improve detection and response.

  • Performing cyber threat hunting
  • Analyzing logs and telemetry
  • Correlating cyber threat intelligence
  • Maintaining situational awareness within the new Netria AI Security Operations Center

The analyst will help design and refine AI-assisted workflows, contribute to playbooks and runbooks, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure Netria’s solutions support robust, privacy-preserving security operations. The role also involves preparing clear incident reports, recommending mitigations, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) skills, including proactive identification of anomalous activity and advanced adversary techniques.
  • Candidates should possess Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) capabilities, such as collecting, analyzing, and operationalising threat data and indicators of compromise.
  • Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting complex security telemetry, identifying patterns, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Candidates should possess experience working within a Security Operations Center environment, including incident triage, escalation, and use of SIEM/SOAR platforms.
  • Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Cybersecurity principles, including network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Experience applying or integrating AI/ML tools in security operations, such as automated detection, enrichment, or correlation, is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GIAC, or similar) and prior MSSP or SOC experience are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid environment are essential.
