About the Role

Steadman Brown are currently working with arguably one of the hottest boutique Salesforce Partners who work on multi-cloud transformations with enterprise customers, particularly within Financial Services.

As a MuleSoft Developer

You will be responsible for working across the full lifecycle of implementation, working closely with business stakeholders to understand the problem, be involved in early design alongside the architect, through to implementation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop MuleSoft integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
  • Build, test and deploy APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Integrate Salesforce with ERP, finance, marketing, HR and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP and other integration patterns.
  • Participate in technical workshops and requirements gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop reusable integration components, connectors and API frameworks to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Produce technical documentation, integration specifications and deployment documentation.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across development, UAT and production environments.
  • Ensure integrations adhere to security, governance and best practice standards.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Commercial experience developing integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and API design principles.
  • Experience building APIs using RAML and API-led connectivity.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce architecture and the Salesforce data model.
  • Experience with authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, JWT and SAML.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous messaging, event-driven architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
