Position Description

At CGI, you’ll help shape the future of enterprise integration by designing secure, resilient, and scalable solutions that enable organisations to modernise complex technology landscapes with confidence. As a MuleSoft Integration Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-value integration strategies that drive business transformation, improve operational performance, and support mission-critical services. Working alongside talented colleagues and clients, you’ll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, take ownership of innovative solutions, and develop your expertise within a collaborative environment that supports your continued growth.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in Belfast.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-wide integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, helping clients modernise complex legacy environments while ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing connectivity across critical business systems. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, delivery teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to define integration strategies, establish architectural standards, and deliver solutions that support long-term business transformation.

You'll take ownership of the end-to-end integration architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise principles. You'll provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, driving best practice, mentoring teams, resolving complex integration challenges, and ensuring integrations remain reliable, observable, and fit for future growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
