Trade Support Analyst
A Global Hedge Fund is looking for a Trade Support Analyst to join its middle office. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your product coverage and join a leading hedge fund that fosters internal progression. This opportunity is paying up to £85,000 + Bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for front office and external counterparties, responding to queries quickly and accurately
- Work through trade exceptions from new executions and make sure bookings are correct and on time
- Investigate and resolve mismatches with counterparties on electronic confirmation platforms
- Make sure trades that sit outside electronic workflows are properly controlled and their risk is addressed
- Provide T+1 support: pick up any prior-day issues first thing, and keep affected teams updated
- Flag process failures and anything that could lead to an incorrect P&L to management and the risk team
- Contribute to T0 middle office service, adapting as priorities shift
- Partner with the business and technology on automation projects that cut manual effort and operational risk

About You

- Background in trade support, middle office or operations, ideally with experience across rates, credit, fixed income or FX products
- Buy side experience is strongly preferred
- Good grasp of the markets and an interest in regulatory and industry developments
- Comfortable dealing with senior colleagues in a pressured environment
