About the Role

Can you turn customer requirements into effective operational plans that deliver results? Do you thrive on balancing performance, service, and compliance in a fast-paced logistics environment? Are you motivated by driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction every day?

We are looking for a Multi-Channel Shift Manager to join our The Entertainer site in Banbury. Working closely with customers, site leadership teams, and operational colleagues, you'll ensure customer requirements are fully understood and translated into effective operational plans that consistently deliver against KPI, budget, and service expectations.

You'll play a key role in driving operational performance, maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring all Health & Safety, legal, and company standards are met. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded operational leader who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and delivering results.

Job Details

This is a full-time, permanent role, working any 5 from 7 and 08:00 to 16:30.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver operational performance in line with customer, contractual, and budget KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact and driving service improvements
  • Ensure operational plans, resources, and priorities are aligned to meet business demands and customer expectations
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service levels
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, compliance, housekeeping, and operational discipline across the department

What You Need to Succeed at GXO

  • Experience within a fast-paced logistics, warehousing, or retail distribution environment
  • Strong operational planning and decision-making skills with a focus on achieving performance targets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence customers and stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proven ability to identify and implement operational improvements
