Join ATA North’s Growing Delivery Team

ATA North is looking for reliable, professional Delivery Drivers to join our growing Glasgow operation.

This self-employed opportunity offers consistent work, competitive earnings and the support you need to succeed in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Pay & Vehicle Package

  • £180 flat day rate
  • Weekly payments – paid two weeks in arrears
  • Van available for £38.60 per day on a 7-day rental
  • Delivery driver insurance included
  • 24/7 vehicle use for personal and additional contract work
  • £500 refundable deposit – payable upfront or spread over 5 weeks
  • Fuel cards available at wholesale cost on higher-mileage routes

The Role

As a Delivery Driver with ATA North, you’ll be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently across your allocated postcode area.

  • 70–100 stops per day, depending on your delivery postcode and route
  • Further-away postcodes will generally have fewer stops
  • Average mileage of up to 90 miles per day, depending on your route
  • Start times between 08:00–10:00
  • Multi-drop parcel deliveries using handheld technology
  • Reduced delivery volumes during your onboarding and training period
  • Seven-day operation with waterfall routing patterns
  • Dedicated local operations support throughout your journey

What Will You Be Delivering?

  • Parcel sizes range from small parcels through to larger items, with individual parcels weighing up to approximately 25kg.
  • Routes are planned based on postcode and delivery area, helping to ensure workloads and mileage are appropriate for each route.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Maximum 6 penalty points
  • Confident driving XLWB vehicles
  • Multi-drop delivery experience preferred but not essential
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach
