Job Details

Job Title: Multi Drop Driver

Location: Burgess Hill

Work Pattern: Minimum 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday (full days) plus Saturday morning


Summary of Role

Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Multi Drop Driver to join our Fleet and Transport team in Burgess Hill. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare providers, helping to ensure patients receive the medicines and products they need. You will be responsible for completing a high volume of daily deliveries safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to complete scheduled pharmaceutical deliveries
  • Complete upwards of 50 deliveries per day across assigned routes
  • Load and unload delivery totes while maintaining product security and integrity
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service during all deliveries
  • Accurately maintain delivery records and relevant documentation
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding route updates or issues
  • Follow all company procedures, road safety regulations, and delivery schedules

Skills and Knowledge

  • Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 live penalty points
  • Previous experience in a multi-drop driving or delivery role
  • Strong knowledge of local road networks and delivery routes
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
