MEDICAL MULTI DROP DRIVER
Polar Speed UPS, Unit 33 Rochester Airport Industrial Estate, Laker Road, Rochester, Kent, ME1 3QX
Monday to Friday - 40 - 48 hours per week
£13.04 per hour midweek rate, £19.56 per hour weekend/bank holiday rate (optional)
Up to £26 per day London Allowances - route dependant
Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the scanning of packages or pallets to your delivery vehicle
- Managing the safe and secure loading of all consignments
- Conducting daily diligence on vehicle safety checks and refrigeration unit
- Reporting any issues found on the vehicle checks to line managers
- Ensure vehicle is always at correct temperature
- Delivering and collection of pharmaceutical consignments to Patients Homes, GP Surgeries, Retail Pharmacies, Hospitals, Wholesalers
- Physical checking and scanning of all consignments at delivery point
- Correct completion of APOD/driver manifest/collection/refusal paperwork
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the company vehicle
- Maintaining cleanliness of company uniform ensuring correct PPE is worn

Specialised Knowledge and Requirements:
- Minimum category B drivers license with ideally no more than 3 points
- Minimum 2 years driving experience, including motorway driving
- Minimum age 21
- Previous multi drop experience
- Previous experience of temperature controlled deliveries/home and or hospital delivery desired but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Appreciate the need for retaining confidentiality
- Build effective working relationships with customers and clients and other departments across the network
