Multi-Engine Flight Instructors

Skyborne Airline Academy are recruiting for Multi-Engine Flight Instructors to join at both our Gloucester and Bournemouth bases. This role is available on a full time, part time or contractual basis.

About the Role

As a Multi-Engine Flight Instructor (MEP IR), you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality flight and simulator instruction to our trainees in compliance with Skyborne’s training and safety standards, and in line with the applicable Aviation Authority regulations. You will instruct at state-of-the-art training facilities using the very latest aircraft, simulators, course ware and surrounded by inspiring colleagues who are all committed to delivering the very best.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting training in accordance with the approved ATO training manual and Academy published schedule/programme
  • Delivering briefings and debriefings to trainees
  • Complying with all rules and procedures detailed in the ATO Operations Manual
  • Upholding flight safety in every aspect of training

Qualifications

  • UK CAA Part-FCL unrestricted Flight Instructor (A) with instructional privileges including SEP (Land), Night, CPL, Instrument & MEP (Land)
  • Minimum 500 hours flight time
  • Minimum 200 hours instructional time
  • Minimum 30 hours Pilot in Command MEP (Land)
  • Unrestricted UK CAA Class 1 Medical

If you are close to meeting these qualifications, Skyborne offer bonded instructor upgrade pathways towards obtaining your IRI privileges, CRI ME and gaining the additional PIC MEP hours required and we would encourage you to submit an application.
