Dentalcare Group is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded, and CQC-registered Dental Practice Manager to lead one of our established mixed NHS and private practices in the Wiltshire/Somerset region.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced dental leader who is passionate about patient experience, team development, operational excellence, and business growth. You will have the autonomy to drive performance, shape practice culture, and make a meaningful impact on both patient outcomes and commercial success.

The Role
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational, financial, and regulatory performance of the practice. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, compliance, and commercial delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing clinical and administrative team
- Maintaining full compliance with CQC requirements, Clinical Governance, Health & Safety, and company standards
- Managing recruitment, onboarding, induction, retention, and performance management processes
- Driving practice performance through KPI management, budget control, diary utilisation, and revenue growth
- Creating a positive, patient-focused culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Building strong relationships with clinicians and associates to maximise engagement and retention
- Managing rotas, workforce planning, appraisals, and team development
- Supporting the delivery of an exceptional patient journey and first-class customer service
- Identifying opportunities to increase private treatment uptake and enhance the practice offering
- Representing the practice locally and strengthening its reputation within the community

About You
We are looking for an inspirational leader who combines strong people management skills with commercial awareness and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.
You will have:
- Previous experience as a Dental Practice Manager (essential)
- Current or previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and clinical governance
- Proven experience managing practice performance, budgets, KPIs, and patient experience
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
- Confidence in managing change, driving improvement, and resolving employee relations matters
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding patient care

Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Flexible rota Monday to Saturday
- Operating hours between 8:00am and 7:00pm
