This is an exciting time to join Plymouth Community Homes. As we continue to invest in our homes, services and people, we're looking for a Multi- Skilled Approved Electrician to be part of our growing team. About The Role

Working across our diverse housing stock, you'll carry out a wide range of electrical installation, testing, inspection, repair and maintenance work, ensuring our tenants' homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.

This is much more than a standard electrician role. You'll have the opportunity to utilise and further develop your multi-skilled capabilities while delivering high-quality repairs and improvements that have a direct impact on our customers' lives.

You'll work independently, manage your own workload, and take pride in achieving first-time fixes wherever possible, providing an exceptional service to our tenants.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out electrical installations, testing, inspection and fault-finding on new and existing installations.
  • Completing rewires, repairs, upgrades and planned maintenance works.
  • Undertaking a variety of multi-skilled tasks as required.
  • Diagnosing issues and delivering effective first-time solutions.
  • Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Providing a professional, customer-focused service to our tenants.
  • Participating in the out-of-hours on-call service.

What We're Looking For

We're Seeking Someone Who

  • Holds JIB Approved Electrician status.
  • Has experience installing, testing, inspecting and fault-finding electrical systems.
  • Can confidently undertake rewires, repairs and maintenance works.
  • Possesses a broad range of multi-skilled maintenance abilities.
  • Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Works effectively on their own initiative.
  • Has a strong understanding of electrical and health and safety regulations.
  • Is committed to high standards, continuous improvement and professional development.
