Multi-Skilled Civil Enforcement Officer
Location: Waltham Forest
Department: Parking Enforcement

We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team in Waltham Forest.
Essential Licence Requirement
Applicants must hold either a valid CBT licence or a full motorcycle/moped licence.
Our Enforcement Officers deploy on mopeds as part of the role, so you must hold the required licence at the point of application. Applications from candidates who do not hold a CBT or motorcycle/moped licence will not be considered.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Civil Enforcement Officer, you’ll play an important role in helping to keep Waltham Forest's streets safe, accessible and moving.
You’ll spend much of your working day outdoors, patrolling streets and car parks, providing helpful guidance to members of the public and taking enforcement action where vehicles are parked incorrectly.
You’ll also report issues such as abandoned vehicles and blocked access points, while working closely with local authorities and your colleagues.
What You'll Be Doing
- Patrolling streets and car parks with confidence and professionalism
- Using a moped to carry out enforcement duties across your allocated area
- Providing members of the public with clear and helpful information
- Advising on safe and appropriate parking
- Issuing Penalty Charge Notices where vehicles are parked incorrectly
- Reporting abandoned vehicles, blocked access points and other issues
- Working in partnership with local authorities and councils
- Spending extended periods outdoors and working in all weather conditions
- Dealing professionally and calmly with members of the public
- Applying parking regulations fairly, consistently and professionally
- Representing NSL positively within the local community

What Makes a Great Multi-Skilled Civil Enforcement Officer?

Essential Requirements
- Valid CBT licence or full motorcycle/moped licence - essential
