Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role within a prestigious commercial environment? We’re recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join an established 13-person engineering team at a high-profile technology site in Woking.

This is a genuinely multi-skilled position, combining electrical expertise with wider building services maintenance across a busy and technically interesting estate.

The Role

As The Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer, You Will

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs across building services systems.
  • Maintain lighting, electrical distribution and associated equipment.
  • Complete electrical installation, testing and inspection works.
  • Respond to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.
  • Support wider mechanical, plumbing and general building maintenance when required.
  • Work with specialist subcontractors and maintain accurate CAFM records.

About You

To be successful as the Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer, you’ll have:

  • C&G Part 1 & 2 Electrical Installation 2360 or recognised equivalent.
  • Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
  • Experience within commercial building maintenance or Facilities Management.
  • Good knowledge of electrical PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Electrical installation, testing and inspection experience.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and safe working practices.
  • A genuinely multi-skilled approach and willingness to work outside your core electrical trade when required. 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing, BMS knowledge and mechanical experience would be advantageous.

Working Pattern

The Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer will work Monday-Friday, rotating weekly between:

  • 6:00am–2:30pm
  • 8:00am–5:00pm
  • 1:30pm–10:00pm

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £44,000

Contract: Permanent, full-time
