Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

A global FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias to join their team. This Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias will be responsible for the maintenance of the sites machinery and automation.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7-7 (2D, 2N, 4 off)

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the essential site Health and Safety rules and procedures.
  • Ensure that specifications and quality standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure that traceability complies with Company standards.
  • Prompt response to breakdowns and repairs, ensuring production requirements are prioritised to ensure efficient running of the factory.
  • Effectively manage and prioritise workload using initiative.
  • Carry out safety checks and preventative maintenance on all machines and ancillary equipment at specific intervals.
  • Ensure all work carried out, including any outstanding faults, are logged, accurately recording symptom, solution, parts used, parts required and update on outstanding faults.
  • Ensure accurate storage and labelling of spares, with used parts documented in log to ensure re-ordering as required.
  • Proactively raise remedial works that have been highlighted through behavioural observations and PPM inspections.
  • Deliver planned maintenance schedule on time, in full, to high standards.
  • Proactive with raising and following through constructive safety observations.
  • Support the maintenance team and assist with coaching maintenance engineers.
  • Liaise with Maintenance Manager and Assistant Manager to highlight any areas of concern.
