Engineering Technician

Location: Severnside

Business Areas: Dairy

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 7am–7pm)

We’re recruiting several Engineering Technicians to join our Engineering teams at our Severnside site, supporting both the Dairy operation and the Blow Moulding facility.

These roles sit within different teams and departments, but the scope, expectations and skill requirements are the same across both areas. Dairy roles focus on processing, filling and packaging equipment, while Blow Moulding roles support high‑speed bottle manufacturing and moulding lines.

The Role

You’ll deliver high‑quality planned and reactive maintenance across site, with a strong electrical focus alongside solid mechanical fault‑finding. The role is key to minimising downtime, identifying root cause, and implementing improvements to equipment reliability and performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
