We are looking for a skilled, Multi-Skilled Electrician, for an up to 18 month FTC, to carry out electrical repairs, planned works, and maintenance across occupied and empty homes. You'll diagnose faults, deliver quality first-time solutions, and provide a professional, customer-focused service while meeting agreed standards, timescales and budgets.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver high-quality electrical responsive repairs, planned works and property improvements across Delta homes, achieving agreed safety, quality, customer satisfaction and performance standards.
- Undertake electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding activities in compliance with current legislation, Part P Building Regulations, BS7671 and NICEIC requirements.
- Manage materials, tools, equipment and vehicle stock responsibly, ensuring resources are available, secure and used cost effectively.
- Contribute to operational resilience through flexible working arrangements and full participation in the company's out-of-hours call-out rota, where required by the role. Employees are expected to undertake allocated call-out duties and provide appropriate out-of-hours support in accordance with company requirements, rota arrangements and service needs. This includes responding to emergency and priority situations and supporting the effective delivery and continuous improvement of the Property Services.
- Maintain full compliance with health and safety legislation, policies and safe systems of work, ensuring risks are identified and appropriately managed.

What we are looking for
- Experience within a building maintenance environment or relevant apprenticeship served.
- IEE 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671) qualification.
- City & Guilds 2365 Diploma in Electrical Installations level 3 or previous equivalent qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Inspection and Testing Qualification (City & Guilds 2391).
- AM2 Assessment (or equivalent competency assessment).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in commercial, or domestic electrical installations.
- Knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate basic competency in a wide range of additional trade skills, eg, plumbing, plastering, tiling, carpentry, glazing, groundworks, fencing.
- Basic IT skills and prior use or understanding of mobile PDA devices.

Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: On Site 5 days a week working on a rota basis 37 hours a week between the house.
