A global manufacturer and market leader in high-performance building solutions is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join its engineering team at a busy manufacturing facility. Operating internationally across commercial, industrial, and residential construction markets, the company is recognised for its innovative, energy-efficient products and strong commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out planned preventive maintenance
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns
  • Fault finding
  • Implementing effective engineering solutions to minimise downtime

You will work closely with production and operational teams to support reliability, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across site. The role will also involve:

  • Using a CMMS system to manage maintenance activities
  • Contributing to equipment modifications and installations
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering, quality, and safety standards

Person

The successful candidate will be a qualified engineer with previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment and a strong background in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance. You should possess:

  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • The ability to work independently in a pressurised environment

Experience with planned preventive maintenance systems and controls/PLC knowledge would be advantageous. Strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to health, safety, and continuous improvement are essential.
