About The Role
Are you passionate about solving problems finding solutions for the future? Looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience with scheduled maintenance and repairs within a manufacturing setting?
As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Engineering across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated, Electrically biased, Engineer to join our maintenance team, based at our Caistor site in Lincolnshire.
Purpose Of The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the consistent smooth running of factory machinery including planned maintenance and reactive repairs, along with continually looking for ways to improve future processes.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Multi-Skilled Engineer will include:
- Performing reactive breakdown repairs.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
- Recording all documentation accurately and on time.
- Improving equipment reliability, stamping out recurring faults.
- Ensuring “audit ready” records are kept.

What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a multi-disciplined Engineer.
- An electrical bias with sound mechanical knowledge.
- Engineering Apprenticeship or qualifications at Level 3 or equivalent.
- Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry would be beneficial.
Working Hours
A 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
06:00 - 18:00, Days only.
