Multi-Skilled Engineer Wanted!
Our client is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical background to join their engineering team across Grassington and Keighley.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or automated manufacturing environments, looking for a hands-on role involving planned maintenance, fault-finding, and continuous improvement.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping plant, machinery, and services running safely and efficiently.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults
- Maintaining and improving plant, machinery, and services
- Installing and commissioning new equipment
- Supporting engineering and continuous improvement projects
- PLC fault-finding, repair, and programming
- Working with automated electro/mechanical systems
- Ensuring all work complies with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards

About You
We're looking for an experienced engineer with:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- A strong electrical engineering background
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with PLC fault-finding, repair, and programming
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience within FMCG/manufacturing
- Experience with automated electro/mechanical systems
- 5+ years' manufacturing experience
- Food industry experience is desirable
- A full UK driving licence and own transport
- A reliable, hands-on approach and positive can-do attitude
