Shift Pattern: 6am-2pm/ 8am-4pm / 2pm-10pm + 1 Saturday in 4 (6-10)

The Company

My client is a specialist manufacturer of construction based products, with roots dating back over 140 years, they are extremely well established and well respected within their specialist field of engineering. They are now part of a wider group and are an extremely secure organisation, with an eye on the future for their workforce and business, with the addition of more engineers to the Sheffield site.

Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
  • Heavy industry experience.
  • CNC machines knowledge.

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering. It's medium to more heavier engineering so someone suited to that background would be ideal. Probably not FMCG/Food. Working mainly on CNC machines, millers, presses, grinders, laser cutting machines, welding machines, water jet cutting machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, belts, shafts and conveyors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
