The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining specialist manufacturing equipment and facility systems, ensuring maximum uptime and compliance with GMP standards. You'll carry out both reactive and planned maintenance activities, support engineering projects, and help maintain critical utility systems across the site.
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensure equipment is returned to production in a safe and operational condition.
- Complete maintenance documentation and reports.
- Develop maintenance procedures and SOPs.
- Support facilities, validation, and capital engineering projects.
- Manage engineering spares and critical inventory.
- Coordinate and oversee contractor activities.
- Provide technical expertise and training where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

About You
We're keen to speak with engineers who can demonstrate:
- Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on production equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- A background in preventative maintenance programmes.
- Understanding of GMP processes, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls.
- Experience working with utility systems, including HVAC, compressed gases, and facility controls.
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
- Engineering Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent engineering qualification with relevant industry experience.
